A Bit About Me And My Family
I was blessed to have been happily married for 20 years, having 3 sons, 2 of which served in the armed forces and 1 daughter, now presently married to an active duty Navy service member - ALL of whom I am very proud.
Castell III Navy, now preparing a career as an attorney at law - Adam USMC, now pursuing a second career choice - Timothy, a driven business owner and Kimberly, proud mother of 3, all whom I love immensely ... God blessed them all.
My Service Record
I proudly served my country for 20 years, August 1966 to September 1986. I served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 and as a drill instructor of Marines @Parris Island, South Carolina from 1969 to 1971.
I was then promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant E-6 in 1970, to become a Sergeant Instructor of Marines at officers candidate school, Quantico Virginia, training qualified candidates to become officers from 1971 to 1973.
I was selected as a warrant officer in 1973 and the highlight of my tour was being selected as a company commander, proud to serve my home and country.

We Teach What We Most Need To Learn In Life & God Teaches Us All
I’ve been a Pastor for over 40 years. I am also the president-chief executive officer and founder of 'helping the less fortunate ministries' in which we helped people achieve economic stability in urban North Carolina. I have worked as a real estate and insurance broker for the last 30 years.
I also work with a special group called The 'Night Crawlers' and 'Man Up Monday' led by Pastor Timothy Bates visionary and founder. We walk the neighborhoods singing and praying for the people that live in these troubled areas. We do this every Friday night.
Man Up Monday is where we go to a chosen school of the week and reach out to the students as to impact their lives positively.
My ministries have a new program called 'Y.A.P.' which means youth adoption program. We adopt youth advancing in their education but need a little help with some financial assistance for the purchase of school items.
Some of my favorite causes are Children, Economic Empowerment, Environment, Health, Human Rights, Disaster and Humanitarian Relief, along with Poverty Alleviation.
